Reviews
The observation deck is located in the Palm Tower hotel. The entrance is on the left side (taxis will take you to the hotel entrance). The hotel is located at the top of the palm tree trunk. I really enjoyed the story and video about how this island was built. I learned an interesting fact that the original design was a sun, but it was changed to a palm tree during construction.
The view from the platform is good, both of the palm tree branches and the city. You can take photos. There are several cafes at the top (there is a pizzeria).

A beautiful place 😍 It's interesting to hear the story of how Palma was created, the queue moves quickly, there's a full 360° view of the entire island, and it's also a very beautiful area where you can take photos before entering the tour.

A spectacular view, more interesting than Burj Khalifa (although it is worth visiting). A short tour is included in the price of admission to the observation deck. Purchase tickets to the highest point in advance; unfortunately, we were unable to get there as tickets were sold out. It is more convenient to view and take photographs from there.

An amazing place with breathtaking views of Palm Island and more! 😍🔥 I recommend choosing a weekday and daytime, as there will be fewer people and you won't have to wait in line.
At the top, you can drink coffee, eat ☕️ and there is also a souvenir shop.

Prime location
Located at the top of the Palm Tower, a 240-meter building on the prestigious Palm Jumeirah island, The View observation deck is strategically located and impresses both tourists and locals alike. Thanks to its location, The View offers a vantage point from which to admire the sprawling metropolis of Dubai, the azure waters of the Persian Gulf, and the iconic landmarks that dot the city skyline.
Infrastructure
The platform is located at a height of 240 meters, and the view that greets visitors is truly breathtaking. However, it is not just the beautiful scenery and stunning photos that make this place worth visiting. The organizers have taken great care to design the infrastructure to immerse visitors in the world of Palm Jumeirah itself — the history of its creation, the originality of the project, the diversity of its architectural solutions, and the entertainment options.
On the way to the site, you have to go through a tunnel with an interactive aquarium. It delights not only children but also adults, already setting the mood for the unusual spectacle that awaits ahead. Then visitors enter a room with a glowing floor, on which the outlines of the island they are on gradually appear. A pleasant surprise is that everyone can virtually participate in the construction of the island thanks to special effects. You need to stand with your feet on a specific illuminated area and follow the scattered sand, from which the shape of the island emerges in the form of a palm tree.
The next stop on the way to the site is a spacious hall showing a short film about the construction of Palm Jumeirah. Next, you need to go to a small museum with stands and exhibits that allow you to follow the stages of construction and development of the island. Its creation was linked to the need to expand Dubai’s coastline for tourism development.

Next, you will enter a small museum with stands and exhibits that allow you to follow the stages of the island’s construction and development. Its creation was linked to the need to expand Dubai’s coastline for tourism development.
Construction began in 2001, and the originality of the artificial island lies in its shape. When viewed from above, its silhouette resembles a palm tree, with a trunk and 16 branches (8 on each side). To protect the island from storms, a crescent-shaped breakwater stretching 11 km was designed. The construction was completed without the use of reinforced concrete structures, with sand and stones serving as the building materials. The museum displays the equipment used in the construction, including vibrating machines used to compact the sand.
The work was completed in 2006, and gradual development of the island began. Today, it is dotted with a huge number of hotels, skyscrapers, luxury villas, shopping and entertainment centers, and beach clubs. Green areas with parks were created to enliven the concrete jungle. It is connected to the mainland by a bridge, and a crescent-shaped breakwater connects the top of the palm tree via an underwater tunnel.
Impressed by the boldness of the project and the professionalism of its implementation, you can move on to the main attraction — the observation deck itself with a 360-degree view. From here, you can appreciate the original shape of the island and its components, see the most impressive buildings, and take in the surrounding area. The platform has an open area with glass railings and pleasant background music. To get a closer look at individual objects, you can use stationary binoculars.
In addition to the infrastructure of the island itself and its surroundings, visitors note the mesmerizing views of the bay. There is also an enclosed, air-conditioned room with a restroom on the floor. For VIPs, there is a separate room with an open terrace. After enjoying the view, you can purchase souvenirs with the island’s symbols at the gift shop to commemorate your visit.
